About the committee:
Order XVII Rule A. 4.-(1) of the House Standing Orders 2007 states that there shall be a Committee to be known
as the House Services Committee consisting of not more than 40 members appointed during the life of the
House.

(2) The jurisdiction of the Committee shall include:
             (a) Welfare of members;
             (b) Budget and Appropriation of the House;
             (c) Maintenance of the House Chamber and premises including offices and accommodation;
             (d) Residential and office accommodation of Members;
             (e) Provision of equipment and materials for House Premises;
             (f)  Provision of Motor vehicles for Members;
             (g) Monitoring of the Finances of the House
