Notice Paper
The business of the House of Representatives of the Federal Republic of Nigeria is conducted regularly based on a calendar that is carefully planned and executed.

The planned itinerary of the House of Representatives is laid out in the most current Notice Paper, which typically lays out the sitting plan for a week or two, sometimes up to a month. The Notice Paper itemizes the business of the House for the period and is circulated among Honorable Members.

Votes and Proceedings
The Votes and Proceedings of the House Chamber is a verbatim report or minutes of the days business. It also summarizes the decisions of the House for the day's business and any adjournments and referrals made.

Order Paper

The Order Paper sets out the particular agenda of any one House sitting. It is different from the Notice Paper in that while the former deals with the calendar of the House for a 1-2 week period, the Order Paper sets out the issues or business of the day for a particular sitting.
